@MTown701 actually, the vxl is quicker... im guessing that because my jato was more balanced with my battery mounted in the front it was easier to control...
there are times when my VXl just smokes the jato in a straight line (not this time though) lol...

wow im suprised. the 3.3 might be able to keep up with a vxl but not a castle motor

and from what i saw in this vid the jato won hands down.

im at the track evry weekend and see better tines out of nitro monster trucks the the uncontrollable brushless race trucks. there is such thing as overpowered. my revo is over powered with a big block.but really its all in what you prefer.you like brushless thats great. i like nitro. its more realistic.

it has a 4000mah 20c lipo battary...should out about 80amps...which is enoough to go way faster than the jato...

i've actually seen this guys VXL set do 84mph in gainesville...it was not on a traxxas vehicle...this won the seed run event organized by the LHS...

you might want to look at more videos of the vxl being driven 75 to 90mph straight. driver skill may have something to do with it..
