Old university project, its too long for youtube and I wasnt happy with some bits (purely on a technical level, pacing was a bit off in some bits and in other I sorely lacked lights which would have helped)
But this scene has to be my favourite (bias much? its my own film) it is actually the central scene of the whole film. It was the first one I wrote and I built the rest of the film around it. In fact if I was to remake the film I would completely set it at a train station like this.
Its the second scene in the film, introducing Vic (Andy Adam) who is an actor, Hollywood (Edward Ainsworth) is his close friend and a freelance cameraman, the two of them are getting a train to london to shoot a low budget music video.
Some interesting nidbits about the filming.
-It was freezing on the day (middle of january 2 years ago) and both actors were wearing very little) esp Andy who plays Vic (the one with big unironed shirt)
-We almost got arrested due to British law forbiding filming at train stations without permit, it was a small station with only 2 platforms and little else, so no security was around, but we were caught on the security cameras. Thankfully we left just before the police showed up.
