Used to watch this when i was still at school nearly 40 years ago. Almost as good as the sublime film. But why did they make Felix so gay? Maybe Tony Randall couldn't handle the subtleties of the character as well as Jack Lemmon did. Felix was certainly in touch with his feminine side but camp he was not!

@smithdsmit It ran for 5 years (1970-75).

I don't have the words for how much fun it was watching these three clips!

@MisterMasterShafter Why would you say that? I love the episodes of Frasier. Is it because Felix was so, so tidy and so was Niles? Actually, so was Frasier very, very tidy, but he was not gay. Why do you think Niles owes alot to Felix? Do you think they were both gay. I think Niles might be, but not Felix. I could be wrong. Anyway, we are just talking are we not. I absolutely adored the series of Taxi. All those brilliant stars in that series. I have to go, so few characters left.

@scottmanduzy Cosell used words that ended his own demise. He should have thought before he used them. It is his own fault that he fell from grace. I kind of feel sorry for him because I don't think he meant his words to offend anyone. But when you are in the public eye, you have to be really careful. Anne

@Letsallunite I really agree with you. They don't make comedies like they used to. The Odd Couple, Lucy & Desi, Taxi, The Beverly Hillbillys, WKRP, etc, etc. There are so, so many of them. You may be younger than me, so you won't remeber some of them. Anne

Penny looking hot in purple. In her day, baby, what a piece!
Today we have high-definiton TV...more channels than we could watch...and why is there still nothing on? Because they don't make comedy like this anymore...

Wow, Alan Harper from "Two and A Half Men" and NIles Crane from "Frasier" owe a whole lot to Felix Unger. Just goes to show you, nothing is really new.
