Modern political think is too hard for your retarded brain. You are blind from the progress the world has made, you are still stuck in the past. Explaining you modern political views is like teaching a rat to speak English. Remember you vote for the hard right you are saying its ok to hate gays and to forcibly teach creationism.

@bbeaugez And before you get on your soapbox about me hating my country, I am a proud US citizen, born and raised, with not one but TWO brothers currently serving, one, a career Marine currently attached to the Army, is on his FIFTH heavy combat tour with a Striker Column out of Fort Lewis. He was there for the Surge and saw this firsthand. Thanks for playing.

@bbeaugez That was the time when deathsquads, dressed as Iraqi military in many cases, were rounding up opponents, beheading them and leaving their bodies to be found, usually in twos and three, all over the city. This lasted until the last of the opposition was either forced to flee or had been killed. The Surge, by all accounts had little to do with stopping the sectarian violence within Baghdad and only those who simply deny facts or didn't pay very close attention could claim otherwise.

@bbeaugez actually, the Surge didn't work. The point of the Surge was to create a militirzed zone within Baghdad so the central government could make key policy decisions without constant attack or threat thereof. In that effort it failed. The Iraqi gov't went into and out of the Surge with almost no forward decisionmaking. The violence continued unabated.
