Very nice, though I wouldn't label it "gothic" if I were you. Not because there is anything wrong with gothic, this just doesn't strike me as gothic. Type 0 Negative, Burning Brides....gothic. This? Just a beautiful piece of music. :)

It is Neoclassical, which is a Subgenre of Gothic/Darkwave Music. If you know Dark Sanctuary for Example you know what I mean. Just take the Vocals away from their Songs and what's left is Music like this. ;)

Emo, gothic, etc etc. It doesn't matter, music is subjective, and you play from the heart and soul, you live life, expressing who you are, this song has a lot of heart felt emotion, but what good song doesn't, besides crappy nowadays radio hit music?

The song kind of reminds me of the original movie scenes "Highlander"; where Conner tries to build a life with his beloved Heather, watches her grow old while he being immortal stays young. It was touching and heart breaking as she asks looking his youthful face why he stays and he says because he loves her and she dies in his arms. Was sad as he torched the home they lived in and sank his family sword to mark her grave. Immortality without the special loved one to share it seems so empty.

@WeWillBe4ever2gether No offense but "emo" isn't exactly real. More of a label than anything. Goth or Gothic is a lifestyle. I'm sure it's fun to label yourself once in a while but let's not take this to far. Emo isn't real. It just means Emotional and everyone has emotions making everyone Emo. Unless of course you're saying you are emotional?
