  • Well if you want to know what I learned this fine year of 2012, I have found out I am retarded according to other people. If this is how the world sees ME, I am going to end my life early.

  • Great choice on music. I have a strong beleif that when the general public feels uncomfortable or if they do not understand something they get afraid and must make themselves feel better by making themselves feel superior. When people are seen doing these defensive mechanisms that they set up for themselves because of discomfort or misunderstanding of the issue a view it really shows the ignorance of the public. Public awareness will help but the problem of general public ignorance will remain.

  • When most people would shy away from this topic you took it head on. And you did a great job. The quotes in your video are amazing. Good job!

  • I thought you did a good job and it was obvious that you carre about the subject. Loved the use of Dr. Suess quotes!

  • Mentally retardation was an interesting topic. I thought you did a good job on the video. I don't think the fear of the unknown is what causes people to react the way they do to mentally retarded individuals. It's just that everyone is trying so hard to fit in and be "normal" interacting with someone so far out of the norm makes them uncomfortable.

  • Great introduction, good fitting pictures and the questions grab your attention and makes you think. Great interview with a lady in the field with persuasive oppinoins. Overall good job!

  • Great video. I have a close friend with a debilitating brain injury and this video really does hit the reality of it. I hate how people actually think that people are different because of their handicap.

  • This was such a great topic! People really need to be aware of this subject matter. The music, pictures, and interview were all done exceptionally well. I really enjoyed the video! Great work!

  • great job! i worked with special ed children all 4 years in highschool and loved it! great information.

  • I enjoyed this topic and agree with the lady in the interview that everyone needs to be aware of what MR is just like everyone know's what breast cancer is. Nice job with music and the interview. Really enjoyed the video. Good work!
