@Ejabasnecu take that back... Chud does not suck... HE'S Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Drummer FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!
-
@Ejabasnecu robo was never with Jerry, Graves, and Doyle, your thinking of Dr.Chud and he was a great drummer.... and Robo, Jerry, and Dez are not misfits thats Jerry and friends...
-
no.

graves is an amazing singer, and i love Famous Monsters & American Psycho but i dont like hearing him sing danzigs-era stuff.

@Campinferno Jerry is actually a cool guy but he is not a great singer. Glenn created the Misfits before Jerry was a member. Jerry came up with ideas for their look and he always counted off each song, backing vocals, etc. He has also kept things going for 15+ years now. He claims he has no hard feelings toward Glenn and his brother.

@MrPcm100 The newest version of Misfits line-up is good... Robo on drums who was around in the early days from time to time (also played with Black Flag among others), Dez Cadena (Black Flag guitarist and one time lead singer), and Jerry Only on bass and lead vocals. The shows are decent and I like that Dez sings some Black Flag as well but Jerry is far from a great singer. A Danzig show is still amazing!

@MrPcm100 Jerry Only was actually the 2nd Bassist of the group but joined before they ever recorded ('77). Little brother Doyle didn't join until '80 but was always around. Glenn Danzig and Jerry taught Doyle how to play guitar. Doyle has recently played Danzig-era Misfits with Glenn and has played Graves-era Misfits with Graves... best of both worlds. Not really interested in the newest Misfitsstuff with Jerry as the singer... although I did see them live and they put on a great show.

@MrPcm100
I fully agree, but that didn't happen. Tim and Matt started a new band and rarely play OPIV songs and don't claim the legacy. I don't see it as a proper analogy. Make sense? Nick

And, for what it's worth, we caught a couple of the 25th anniversary shows...Danzig or not, they were fun as hell...reminded us of the old days and showed new kids how great punk can be. That's gotta be worth something. No?

Danzig was the misfits ! The Misfits are not missing someone, they are missing the point. Change the name/
