Rest in Peace sweet babies

First, I'd like to thank everyone for their condolences.
Losing any living creature is a small tragedy, regardless of the situation. Death is always sad.
I feel I must clear a few things up, though. When this video was made and originally posted, the description was very vague. I was mourning the loss of three precious baby birds. The cause of their death was never made official, never known 100%. However, the vet- who attempted at saving their lives, who put them to sleep, and performed the necropsy believes the food--which was expired by over a year and not properly marked-- caused a severe bacterial infection that shut their systems down. They were no longer able to digest food. I have never placed the blame on anyone but myself, that is certain. I should have looked much harder for an expiration date, but I assumed (wrongly, obviously) that PetSmart wouldn't have such over-expired food on the shelves... especially considering we bought the only two bags they had of hand feeding formula. These babies were loved from the minute I brought them home, and are still loved to this day-nearly two years later. The situation was a terrible one and, in hindsight, could have been prevented. But most tragedies seem avoidable after they've taken place. By insisting I am a horrible person because we lost them, is very insulting. If you've taken the time to see my other videos, you can plainly see I love my pets with all of my heart. Calling my character into question based on a very short slideshow, with very few details, made solely to console myself shortly after their passing, is insensitive, cruel, and not tolerated.
I am not a bad person simply because mistakes were made, on my part and the part of the store- which was proven when they got the case file and corporate PetSmart paid the vet bills. Bad things happen, to bad people, to good people, and judging a person's character based on negative happenstance is irresponsible and, frankly, stupid.

what's sadder is the pet food manufacturer did not have an expiration date visible. petsmart does not put the expiration date, the manufacturer does.

Im crying right now!!!!! I got my lab who past away from pet smart! She passed away because she had a heart condition at the age of two. I miss her so much! I love her she was so sweet and when the world was cruel to me she was the only one I could turn too. I remember the day she left me I had never felt so alone. We did everything together. I miss her ears that feel like rose petals, her thick yellow fur, the happiness she gave off when I came home. I can't belive the place I got her did THIS!
