  • you are correct. however, the gyros in this video are locked in place. they cannot stand up on its end like a toy gyro would. the end result is an overload of precessional force. it's been way too hot here in Texas to work in the garage. i will be back on this project very soon. i will demonstrate with counter-weights and pulleys the effects of gyroscopic precession on a 'closed-loop' or 'bootstrapped' system.
