A not so brilliant move? Are you kidding me? Good decision on her part. 1) She never confirmed with CPAC in the first place. 2) Democrats in Alaska observe her every move, when she goes out of state, they tend to make a huge, dramatic deal.

They criticize her for this. If she had attended & left her state hanging, they would criticize her for that. I can hear it now... "Oh what a horrible governor. She left her state at a critical time to go promote herself at CPAC." Face it, no matter what she does, the libs will find fault with it!

Palin never committed to CPAC, so how can you pull out if you were never slated to go in the first place. CPAC knew back in November 2008 that She would not be there

I am Rush *GOP Messiah* Limbaugh, & I want Obama and our country to FAIL! Liberals who criticize Bush during his admin are anti-American, anti-patriotic & must have their CDs burned. Criticizing Obama is patriotic, b/c America must FAIL! Trust me, for I am thrice divorced, convicted drug addict (oxycontin) & pedophile (29 Viagra pills on pre-teen tour in Dominican Republic). Republican politicians must not criticize me otherwise they will end up apologizing to the GOP Messiah soon.

God, I hope so! Please, please Sarah, run in 2012! The Republican clown parade just isn't the same without you as the head buffoon. I need more of your folksy nuggets of home-spun wisdom, like "I can see Russia from Alaska" or "What does a VP do?" Bobby "Kenneth the Page" Jindal's recent Howdy-Doody speech and Joe the Plumber's "book" tour are all but temporary diversions.

I was there as well and I didn't hear one bad thing about her. There were several booths there as well practically praising her so I really don't see why the media is taking it the wrong way. Oh well.

I was at CPAC with 8500 other people and didn't hear anyone say they felt snubbed. In fact there was a real love fest for her there. We gave a reception in her honor and all of her friendas and supporters attended. She had work to do in Alaska and I think its good that she stayed there to fulfill her responsibilities.
