To each his own.

Dominate side: Pistol IWB (3:00 or appendix) and folding knife (in front pocket)
Support side: Fixed blade KaBar TDI 11:00 position IWB, pepper spray in front pocket, flashlight w/landyard hanging from my belt and tucked into rear pocket, spare mag
Light weight and completely concealed with multipul options. Appendix carry is great for speed and weapons retention. I can also access it quickly from a seated position or on my back.

Reload on the move with one hand. Tuck pistol under armpit and reload on the move.

@clap5 VERY bad idea!!! What happens if you drop your gun? If you have it in your holster you can't drop it. Truth is, that you probably aren't going to be doing a reload in the middle of a life or death situation.

It's never a good situation if you drop your gun period. If you a good hold on it under your armpit...make sure the barrel end is pointed 6:00 and at a downward angle. Your mag well will much or accessible to load another magazine in it. I didn't make this up, this technique was developed by the FBI. If one of you hands is out of the fight. You need to move to cover quickly but need to load at the same time. This is a efficient way to do it. Try a dry run and let me knowif you like

@clap5 Been there done that. I don't like it just like I don't like putting the gun between your legs. Unfortunately these techniques are developed by people who don't think things through very well. Just because the FBI uses it or develops it has no bearing as to whether or not I will use it or like it. In fact, it will probably be just the opposite because it isn't realistic or practical for civilian applications. Especially when there is something better and safer! ;)
