On August 19, 2011 Americans for Prosperity, funded by the Koch Bros., came to MIssoula, Montana. The Missoula Area Central Labor Council, Montana Organizing Project and others sponsored a strongly humorous response to their presence in Montana.
"Not Your Ordinary Tea Party", an updated version of Lewis Carroll's classic "Mad Tea Party" from Alice in Wonderland, was presented to protesters, which was followed by singing and laughing Americans for Prosperity/Koch Bros. out of town! See also "I'd like to give the Kochs a World".
Major funding for Americans for Prosperity comes from the Koch Family Foundation and Koch Industries -- the same funding source that supported Governor Scott Walker in his attack against Wisconsin workers and made the radical Tea Party a household name.
Among a long list of egregious acts against the American people in the name of corporate wealth and power is their most recent act of sending phony ballots to democratic voters in Wisconsin during the recall elections with a return date that lands AFTER the election is over. This was a disgusting display of disregard and disrespect for voters, the electoral process, the majority rule, and human decency and morality.
Tea baggers are greedy, hypocritical DOUCHE BAGS!
