never had MY vote. i don't believe we can live the same lives we live now without nuclear power and i don't believe that the lives we live now are desirable. our materialism and extravagant greed will be our downfall. america will fail because as a nation we are simply unsatisfied with the idea of a simple earthly life. it's ironic that we are so overwhelmingly christian. we live almost categorically in opposition to the life of which jesus was a proponent. i'm disgusted and pessimistic.

He got MY vote, as well as that of my friends. Renewables are not dependable and Germany and Denmark have demonstrated the failure of wind power despite hundreds of millions of direct and indirect subsidies. They haven't been able to shut down a single coal plant. Anyone who believes we can live the same lives we are now, carbon free, without nuclear power is simply deluding themselves. If you like, build a house that uses 300 watts of electricity and runs on solar, but I wont pay for it.
