I think he is one of the most original guitar players since Charlie and Django. One of the nicest of humans as well. Really a great time to hear these guys,

Music on the highest level - interactive, structured, yet spontaneous, intense yet light and flexible. These guys always seem to check their egos at the door and engage in a much deeper enterprise.

I used to go to live performances of the Art Ensemble of Chicago, David Murray, Don Pullen, Steve Lacy, the World Saxophone Quartet and others. This group reminds me of those days - superb.
