You do the remake some serious justice.. I'm glad to see the guitar is actually in the hand of some players and not just collectors. My favorite fender remake guitar.

playing any strat is a pleasure. unique sound that no other guitar can achieve

@tabulaerasae82 Exactly gold hardware and somebody's name slapped on the front dont mean anything if the tone ant great

@UltimateGuitarist17 the deluxe , i have one in lefty......great guitar....alot on it is a gimic tho , personally i hardly use the s1 , locking tuners are handy but miles from essential But as the dude said gold hardware etc doesnt mean anything , neither does a signature or name on a guitar. over any usa strat i would deffo choose a japanese made model and save £$£, 80's preferably....just my opinion

Faces say it all mate. Rly good
Do you think I should get this guitar or a Fender 50th Anniversary American Deluxe Stratocaster, with chunk of alder for the deeply contoured 2 tone sunburst body set off with gold plated hardware.
Modern C-shape maple neck & fret board with satin polyurethane finish
Abalone dot position inlays
22 medium jumbo frets
9 1/2" fingerboard radius
Locking Tuning Machines
3 Samarium cobalt noiseless pickups
S-1 switching.
What would you go for? Cant make up my mind!

Don't let your choice depend on golden hardware and stuff. Go for the best sound. This blackie sounded very good. It was the best guitar I've ever played on. And believe me, I've played on a lot!

Yeah i'm leaning towards that, does the Eric model have s-1 switching? and i suppose you can get down right dirty distortion like Jimi Hendrix tones? I really need that voodoo sound

Listen to Just One Night CD. That's the sound. Very clear tone. Very nice touch. I don't think it has a Jimi sound.

do those guitars (by those i mean blackie and all other aged guitars) really feel as good as old worn out ones do?
