In this video, I'm going to show you how you can live on a permanent vacation,
so you can enjoy life each and every day,
and make your friends jealous and hear them say,
"You are so lucky, I wish I could do that!"

But let me warn you, this video might inspire you to beg your boss to fire your (bleeped).

It's a weekday, maybe Monday maybe Friday, it doesn't much matter. I'm out here walking on the beach while you are probably sitting at your desk, in a cubicle, in a sterile office, and dreaming of the day you can be walking on the beach. And I bet you're not thinking about doing it on a Saturday afternoon either, after racing out of work, packing up the car, and driving for frickin' hours to get here.

I've spent a lot of time over the last few years, while hangin' out on the beach, thinking about all the ways to enjoy life.

While living aboard our sailboat these past 7 years I've had a lot of time to learn what works.

Why am I doing this? What's in it for me? The thing is, I'm no guru, we're just regular folks doin' it. You can listen to me and learn how you can do this too.

You can call it "paying it forward" or karma...Whatever. Giving is super fun and knowing I have helped you improve your life is my reward. It's my way of thanking you for watchin' my videos and posting all the feedback. All the great comments inspire me to keep makin' videos.

Ok, here it is. The old-school idea of working hard, day in and day out year after year, at a job you don't really like, exchanging time for money, and deferring life until old age sucks. It's just plain wrong, it's a load of crap created by one group of people to control another group of people.

The vicious circle of clothes, house, car, commute, traffic, and work is a big trap. Time, sweet time, is your most valuable asset.

So don't let some company boss tell you what your time is worth.

No one on their death bed ever says, "I wish I'd spent more time at work."

I feel so strongly about this I wrote a book, "Sail the Seven Seas of Freedom." In it I share our journey, how we left behind a so-called normal life, in the so-called normal world, and began living the life of our dreams. It's available on the website, and places like Amazon.

@gigabit86 Hi Nick. It all depends on what you want to call work. YouTube and my book are a tiny fraction. Many many people are self-employed. I grew up in a family business. As kids we fixed tv's, repaired lawn mowers, lots of things. Having a company job is expensive in many ways. Find what you love and figure a way to make money at it.
