This is a time-lapse video of a pea growing into a pea plant, including root growth. Since the viewing window was open to the overhead grow light, the pea plant immediately thought that it was exposed to light above the soil. The plant de-etiolated while underground, forming secondary roots, leaves, etc. So, while very cool looking, this is *not* how a normal pea plant will grow.

Taken at 15 minutes per frame, 30fps. Nearly 8 hours per second.
