@diamondlancer haha you are a true lawyer
-
A lawyer that lies... geesh theres a stretch. lol
-
The DA should have argued that since the triangular lawn was in reality no bigger, that it was only worth $7.50 as well.
-
This nonsense wouldnt be tolerated by judge judy
-
It only goes to show you Mr. District Attorney that looks can be deceiving. Just because the triangle looks bigger, it doesn't mean it's not the same size!
-
that is a bold face lie. i always wonder what a bold face lie.
-
That guy was going to prison for not paying two dollars?! Also, why doesn't the District Attorney know basic geometry? This is why American courts are terrible!
-
pre Judge Judy era!

Arthur was the one on trial, but he was actually the one doing the accusing. I guess Larry felt it was a crime just to accuse him of wrongdoing.
Well, look on the bright side, Larry. It's $2.50 extra.
such a staple of my childhood I love this show

There is another way to prove that the areas of the rectangle and triangle are the same. For the rectangle, you multiply the length times the width. For the triangle you multiply the base times the height divided by 2. Just in case anyone has not noticed.
