Letapos;s begin with the CEO Mike Irvin. Mike Irvin has put together one of the nationapos;s best programs for girls and boys AAU basketball. The 2010 Summer AAU team was coached by Nick Irvin head coach of Morgan Park High School and Coach Cha, someone who just loved to travel with the team, Blackshear said joking around. The team consisted of Derrick Randolph, UIC commit Jerome Brown, Kiefer Sykes headed to Wisconsin Green-Bay, Macari Brooks and Jamie Crockett Depaul recruits both considered as two of the countryapos;s most athletic guards, George Marshall Wisconsin commit and Illinois commit Mike Shaw, cousin of Wayne Blackshear who also is part of the team. Did I name Sam Thompson whoapos;s headed to Ohio State? And last but not least Wayne Blackshear a Louisville recruit. The Fire gets the job done on the court which opens up greater opportunities off the court. From snapbacks, to t-shirts to socks and much more, the Mac Irvin Fire deserves it all. Unlike other teams with a group of players from different areas the Mac Irvin Fire treat each other like brothers because everyone has each otherapos;s back. The 17U club isnapos;t the only special team Mike Irvin has, the 16U features Jabari Parker, Billy Garrett, and Thomas Hamilton jr. Wayne Blackshear brings life to the team on and off the court he loves to joke and have fun. When the team is down he finds ways to bring them up on the floor. Heapos;s a role model and a leader for the younger ones like Jabari Parker and Billy Garrett. Tip off came against All Ohio Red in game two. Ohio knocked down jump shots but the Fire used their strength inside to hit battle back. Jerome Brown was a key factor hitting down multiple three pointers to help the Fire win another one. It just shows that the Fire may joke a lot but all jokes are aside when they step on the court. "We feel like if you aint from Chicago you aint from nowhere." Mike Irvin said. And thatapos;s what they show every time they play. Stay tune for more in episode three
