NetApp's Global Dynamic Lab is a multi-tiered facility which hosts both product operations as well as corporate IT. This data center can accommodate power densities up to 42 kW per cabinet; PUE driven down to 1.2 which is 80% more efficient than the standard 2.0 which is about $7.3M per annum when fully utilized, operates 80% more efficienctly than the typical data center; was built for 1/3 the industry benchmark cost, reducing construction costs coresponds to a 66% CAPEX reduction which equate to an additional $14.5M / Year in reduced OPEX based on an infrastructure average asset life of 15 years.
