@lurchxXx Sad but true, you just described a majority of bands who are not actively releasing albums as a band, but are playing "nostalgia" shows to make a living. It's a formula that has worked for decades. The musicians involved who may have had problems in the past always "magically" find a way to get along enough to tour and make money. Like Van Halen, Genesis, Styx, Foreigner, etc....

everyone should watch their documentary...they are really not inspired or in loving any of this...they tour in different vehicles the drummer is an alcoholic and no one talks to each other outside of shows... Kim's sister travels with Kim and she is completely off her rocker from their Breeders days...its really a sad existence...none of them want this...Black Francis wants his solo career to work out so he can get the fuck out of The Pixies...sorry to burst your bubble

I really love this band. You can generally tell they enjoy playing. Kim's smile when the guitar pace picks up, you can tell she's loving every minute of playing. That's what music is all about. The love.
