This is so cheesy that it was considered cheesy back in the 80's! Haha, I love it lol
-
As some others have said, at the end of Captain Freedoms workout commercial in the movie you can briefly hear a woman singing. Is that version available on the soundtrack?
-
I would rather listen to this than anything on the radio today. Seriously.
-
In the movie, there was actually a woman singing for a brief moment in this song

@GrahamRiddell It's sad when people start accusing the creators for stealing from the real stealers lol. This little debate reminds me of all the times I hear people tell me about them hearing little kids these days ask Why The Simpsons copies off of Family Guy ::face palm::.

No, Mr.Moustacho sampled this, and that song's not from 1983, it's just part of the whole 80's nostalgia chillwave/glofi thing which is why there's the "'83" in the title and the general 80's feel to it.
-
Sounds like he got it from this:
Mr.Moustacho - Dutch Sweat '83 (original mix)
from 1983

I think Jerry Goldsmith did a better work of a "future sound" in Outland. The "Rec Room" melody.
Harold Faltermeyer always seemed to be doing the same thing over and over again, as if his co-operation time with Giogio Moroder never ended.
Ok, kudos for his work on The Running Man. It suited the dystopian scenery of the movie.
