i met the copper on the right played by steve frost one year at glastonbury festival. i saw him walking around with a woman and couldn't resist shouting, "you kneed her in the goin". he stopped dead in his tracks and turned round laughing saying "i knew she was catholic but i didn't know the pope was". we had quite a long chat about all his sketches. he wrote all those himself. bloody nice bloke. posed for a photo even though i was a bit worse for wear. mind you so was he. ha!

I love this.. every young ones clip wid the policeman on the left (i think his name is mark arden?) is awesome, I can never find him on youtube though! Also .. 'it's a laugh eh' joke is hilarious.. every time someone says that i crack up but if you try and re-tell it.. ppl look at you a bit strange.

Sad to think that comedy will never be the same again as it was in the 80's! Young Ones is still one of the best of all time. Mainly cos of how inappropriate it was at times. This programme couldn't even get made nowadays, which is a great shame. At least we have 2 series to enjoy forever!
