I like it, albeit - nobody can replace Natalie (common knowledge I think). But, I should add - doesn't make it any less ok? I love the way you do the song - you're perfect for the part and you add your own personality to it (I think, that Natalie had a great personality to begin with and maybe that's how she was able to pull it off). So do you. You bring a certain something to it that's different but great. Have fun...that's what it's all about!

Check out Mary on Natalie Merchants "official" website. mary plays viola in Natalie's 1993 MTV Unplugged cover of Iris DeMent's "Let teh Mystery Be" along with david Byrne (!). Very cool song and Mary is very young and very cute....i love her!

Well, I'm way out of the loop. 'cause I had no idea about Natalie leaving the group. I knew that she she did a great solo album. But being replaced? Who knew? Anyways, Mary Ramsey, you are great !!
