I remember when this happened. We were very saddened at the time. Now my son is a freshman and swimming for the Irish. This video has a very deep meaning. Haley's talk at Athletes Frosh Orientation was also excellent.

@23hooley You might be interested to know that a movie is going to be shot at the university that is inspired by the book written by Haley Scott Demaria, WHAT THOUGH THE ODDS. It is Titled TWO MILES FROM HOME. I was fortunate enough to write the screenplay. It has been approved by Notre Dame and will be the third film to ever be granted approval to be shot on the beautiful campus in its 162 year history.
