What an astonishing composition. So heartful and emotional, without ending up sounding shallow and mellow (extremely easy in this kind of instrumental territory). Especially the motif at about 3:00 is so intense, so irresistibly beautiful that tears me apart every time. Yoshida is up there with Max Richter and Ólafur Arnalds (among a few others) that managed to rejuvenate and elevate the lyricism of the genre to unimaginable heights.
