Quick question, does adding that sphere and subdividing it three times like you did add significantly to the polycount? I am making a game where there characters are pretty high in poly count 16-20k without hair, will adding the sphere make them a lot higher? thanks

thanks this has been helpful, do you reckon you could do a similar video but with feathers because i'm making an angel i'm just having trouble with hair and feathers

I could do that in the future, you may want to send me a message though to remind me , as I have a pretty big project im working on at the moment.
However, I think an alpha would likely be your best bed at the moment, either that or creating feathers via masking and the snakehook brush.
:) Just a thought. Hope it helps a little.

-oh also, do you ever use the Dam_standard brush? Ever since I found that its been one of my favorite brushes, especially it's "alt+ sculpting" ability, since it pinches at the same time.
Very very sexy brush.
Anyways, thanks again bro! :-)

I do indeed. It's a stable in muscle sculpting, I never really used it much for hair, but I can see how it would be most useful :)
You can see it at work in my newer lessons, namely the old man project and even in the new series I'm creating.
