My Sitar & I

Here's my new sitar - now please be kind, I only got it 5 days ago and it's not like I have a master sitar player around to instruct me.
I do play a bit of guitar though, so it's sort of helping me to figure out how to play the damn thing.
* I frequently forget to use the droning strings.
* Fretting isn't nearly as painful as people say it is, if you already have guitar callouses.
* I don't have a 'mizrab' or whatever you call them, I'm still playing with my thumb.
*The video is a bit out of sync, no idea why.
* And finally... there's some very visible edits in here. There are some things that just don't need seeing :)

Here's hoping I improve!

Hehe, I was (still am) just a guitarist. At the time I wanted to see what a sitar would be like, and I had a lot of fun with it. It gathers a lot of dust at the moment, it needs a *lot* of work done to it.

Well, I read in the comments that you don't know how to play it. You just make what you think at the moment right? Just like the guitar! If it's that way, I supose it's easy. Because I do that thing with my guitar too XD
