In God there is no pride, because He is completely directed to love and to give life. "In us, on the other hand, pride is deeply rooted and requires constant vigilance and purification." These were the words of the Pope this morning at Castel Gandalfo ahead of the Angelus prayer, which was attended by more than four thousand faithful.
