    i think vihart was bored in math class because she was too smart, i on the other hand was bored out of the desperation of not understanding a word the teachers were saying, i do not speak math , but for some reason i love viharts videos and am never bored watching them, i still dont really understand the math though ..........

    I think Vihart's boredom in math class stems from the fact that we aren't taught to love the beauty of math and instead are only showed equations, formulas and postulates for memorization. Google "Lockhart's Lament", if you want to read a great treatment of this issue. I love Vihart's videos because they show some of the elegance and beauty that is true mathematics.
