I made this for the Canadian Adaptations of Shakespeare project. It has a sort of "Romeo and Juliet in Space' theme. That green, tentacled creature is Romeo, and the long-nosed slug thing is Juliet. This and five other claymation clips can be found in the "Interactive Folio", on their website. Try to find them by clicking on lines of the script. The other five clips are a bit shorter, but they have sound effects and dialogue. There is a clip for each act of Romeo and Juliet, plus this introduction.

  • how od you do this?

  • iStopMotion. It's pretty simple.

  • is it a free program?

  • I think there's a free trial, but the real thing costs $40 or so. Also, I don't think it works on PCs. Otherwise, it's completely worth getting.

  • awesome i agree with sander and that must have been hard moving all those little pieces of clay during the space battle. BTW i use Istopmotion to and i was wondering, do you ever have the problem of the lighting flickering when u watch it?

  • Yes. Yes I do. I'm still figuring out how to solve problems like that.
