I like Ted, but I wish that he had taught her how to style and care for her natural hair, especially after she said that is how she likes it. I always find it a bit disappointing on shows like this when they feel the need to "fix" curly hair by straightening it out. Curly hair is beautiful in it's own right, many women just do not know how to bring it to it's full potential.

IMO, the reason Ted works better than Nick is because Ted is more able to pull off the chatting and hand-holding without seeming so forced. Nick sounds like he's been told he's supposed to act extremely warm and gushing and supportive and hold people's hands and make them feel great and get them to say nice things for the camera, and he's trying but it's not really him. I think he's probably a nice guy, but not the right guy for that particular (difficult) role.
