theres no "hipster" or "elitist" attitude by releasing music only on vinyl or tape- it just means you like your music to be on those formats,most likely because you like to collect other peoples music on those formats. simple as that.

oh and also because cd's are overpriced plastic pieces of junk,that too

@aocidicoa One could also make the argument that vinyl has better sound quality than CDs, but I don't think that is relevant in BA's case.

@aocidicoa I agree with you for the most part. BA does have a very elitist/obscurist attitude, but it's part of their shtick and I can appreciate that. Also I wasn't trying to make any sweeping generalizations about what makes a metalhead, just replying to thrashmetalfiend's earlier comment.

you don't need an analog equipment. you can find "analog" records right here on youtube. as a matter of fact i am posting this on one of those.
