@Nationsnotregimes He was 51. I think Bing was a guy who got what few people get in life- a second chance, and he made the most of it with his second family, which may have made it even worst for the sons from his first family.

Bing was a straight decent man, but the social strata controlled by the media did not help in preventing his demise perhaps.

Whereas Gary Moore and Bill Cullen were always game for performing in skits, Henry Morgan always seemed to hate such things and did whatever he could to screw things up.

It's amazing how much they all sound like Bing. If you want to see their mother, there's a YouTube of her singing "Crazy Feet," from Fox Movietone Follies, I think it is.

Bing obviously made mistakes, but their mother Dixie was a helpless alcoholic. Certainly she contributed to their unhappiness.

1957 or later. The comment about having two more brothers was a subtle but obvious reference to Bing's second marriage that year.
