@TubeSteak, Oh my gosh small world, I played Mary Windrod when BGSU Firelands performed it spring of 2003 and Dr. Frank Glann directed. But I'm with you, I wish I had the understanding and appreciation for this play then that I do now.

@louie, I hope you find your character. This play was in my Freshman year & I had no grasp on the play's message, but I got the part of the Preacher/Judge, which was the only role I could fathom. I love the play now, after reading the script 9 times. (That was Fall of 1980, Firelands Campus of BGSU, Ronald Ruble, director.) I had a crush on the girl who played "Cora," but she ended up w/some bald guy w/long sideburns. My friend played Peck: a teen trying to get laid, for all I know.
