Yogi Berra won't miss this place, Yankee Stadium, he lived it and will remember it. This tribute aired on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball when they shut the place down 21 September 2008.

I miss the old Stadium. The new place has all the bells and whistles, but old Yankee Stadium was electric. It got really LOUD.....

I think they should have left a part of the stadium there with one of the gates. I don't think it was time to get rid of it yet. I am 14 and I went to 25 games there in 5 years. And after that game was the one time I was not happy after a win. Now. There is nothing left to tell my grandkids about but once a time there was a ballpark named Yankee Stadium. :(

im almost 18 .. and prob go to 4-10 games a year since i was 9... this year it really hit me when they showed old jeter videos from the old place how much i miss it.. i legit made my dad walk down to where the little legue feilds are now to just say hey rember this was the gate... i really miss it

Im a yankee fan and I thought it was discusting that they tore down such a place just for money. It was not necissary. Now shea on the other hand was a dump and shoulda been torn down 40 years ago.

The problem with this is that sure people who played and watched games will remember the old Stadium, but how about the future generations? How are they going to remember America's most historic sports arena? Heritage Field? BAH! It's a crime against history to have completely tore down OYS. It was the US's Roman Colosseum and we tore it down to make Steinbrenner richer.

After it was renovated in '73 i liked the looks but it really didn't look like it use to. The new Yankee Stadium is a combo of the old and the new and i love it. but u cant put a price one the class of the old one.

I got a tour of the old Yankee Stadium before they tore it down. We got to go into all the locker rooms, and the announcers booth. I will never forget Yankee Stadium.
