On the 20-year anniversary of his groundbreaking masterpiece Roger & Me, Michael Moores Capitalism: A Love Story comes home to the issue hes been examining throughout his career: the disastrous impact of corporate dominance on the everyday lives of Americans (and by default, the rest of the world). But this time the culprit is much bigger than General Motors, and the crime scene far wider than Flint, Michigan. From Middle America, to the halls of power in Washington, to the global financial epicenter in Manhattan, Michael Moore will once again take filmgoers into uncharted territory.

With both humor and outrage, Michael Moores Capitalism: A Love Story explores a taboo question: What is the price that America pays for its love of capitalism? Years ago, that love seemed so innocent. Today, however, the American dream is looking more like a nightmare as families pay the price with their jobs, their homes and their savings. Moore takes us into the homes of ordinary people whose lives have been turned upside down; and he goes looking for explanations in Washington, DC and elsewhere. What he finds are the all-too-familiar symptoms of a love affair gone astray: lies, abuse, betrayaland 14,000 jobs being lost every day.

Capitalism: A Love Story is both a culmination of Moores previous works and a look into what a more hopeful future could look like. It is Michael Moores ultimate quest to answer the question hes posed throughout his illustrious filmmaking career: Who are we and why do we behave the way that we do?

  • michael moore, keep doing what your doing and telling it how it is. fuck republicans and money hungry companies!!!

  • @Zailang I'm a swede too, and you're delusional. Sure, Sweden got most of its wealth through exports, but who decided how the wealth should be distributed and used? The socialists. If the Conservatives had ruled then we would have had a society resembling that of America - massive inequality and bonegrinding poverty. Greece's problems were created by right-wing governments who allowed tax evasion to happen, their public spending is around 45%, like most of Europe, far below Scandinavia.

  • WE THE PEOPLE ARE OCCUPY WALL STREET !

  • Bailouts and Government spending has got nothing to do with Capitalism. Please...

  • @HabitualNightOwl Im a swede myself, telling u that Sweden built its wealth by exporting goods to a bombed post-WW2-Europe and lately we've had a right-wing government who responsibly cut government spending and lower taxes. Our main socialistic party is just as left as Obama and his spending-frenzy and not very serious at all. If we had them though we would've been in the same situation as Greece etc. whose socialistic regimes created a situation where America is heading towards now.

  • Michael Moore made the bulk of his $25 million off Capitalism (GOOGLE - celebrity net worth). He disavows Capitalism by saying “Communism has won. Socialism has prevailed” watch?v=SRRe0EFdNpI
