He does not attend LSU, however, I (the person in the video) did and graduated a few months ago. The message I left was in no way celebrating the death of an animal, but rather finding humor in the irony of the situation.
Either way, I'm in the midst of watching the BCS Championship game and have to get back to it. GEAUX TIGERS!

LSU did have a small area for its tiger up until a few years ago when animal lovers, LSU students & alumni raised enough money to build a large, nice place for him. The 'new' Mike the Tiger is 2 years old. He was born on July 23, 2005, at the nonprofit animal rescue facility, Great Cats of Indiana in Idaville, Ind. They donated him to LSU in Aug. '07. There are so few tigers in the wild now they are on the endangered list. I feel like at least this tiger is safe where he is now.

I don't understand how you can laugh about Mike the Tiger or any animal dying. Sure, it was unusual that he died on the day of graduation, but that doesn't make it something to laugh about. It's not FUNNY when something dies, it's SAD. There's a big difference there.

I don't understand why you think everyone should react to death the same way you do. You don't know if we were sad or happy about mike dying. Just because someone laughs at something doesn't mean they aren't sad about it.
