In October of 2008 2 friends set forth on the adventure of a lifetime, to travel through the Communist Country of Laos by motorcycle. We ate the strangest of food, were stopped by the Military in the middle of the jungle, met the friendliest people in the word, and one of us was almost arrested. Through it all we made it safe and sound with a lifetime of stories.
thanks for posting this up.

Good on you doing that. It is more difficult when there's a TOTAL language barrier. We can usually scrape by in Europe and many other places, but in most of Asia it's tough, and culturally very different too. I bet you had a fantastic time though.

@CodeTwo2
Thanks!!
It was really funny how little of a problem we had with the language barrier. There was always a Monk somewhere wanting to practice their English. As far as all the other locals went, never have I meet or seen such a friendly lifestyle. Once they got over the fear of our bikes they were all over us just wanting to talk and know where we were from.
Very cool trip.
Glad you enjoyed the video.
