The Kasam at Our Doorstep

On Saturday, March 1st, 2008, just as we were sitting down to lunch, the "Color Red" alert sounded and a few seconds latter a tremendous boom was heard. The kasam rocket landed only a few meters away from the gate of our kibbutz. Fortunately, nobody was injured, although the Reserve Soldier at the gate went into a state of shock and required a shot of valium.

The landing itself was caught on a surveillance camera. Enjoy the reality.

Almost a month has passed without any further gifts from the neighbors...

A kasam rocket dispatched from neighboring Gaza landed a few meters from the kibbutz of our kibbutz. Fortunately no one was injured, but the Reservist guarding the gate went into shock and required a valium shot. This was the last incident so far and was amazingly caught on a surveillance camera.
