  • Isnt it being able to come up with a great solo or instrumental the main point? Not how complex or hard to play it

  • @slide4180 he plays what most rock players would like to play, but they never get it. For him it is way too easy to play stuff like this, only one chord, 4/4 time, but it sounds (and looks) good !

  • @slide4180 You shut up ! hijo de puta.

I wrote my point of view. My point of you is mine so you HAVE TO respect that. So next time please take care. asshole!

    So good evening.

  • @Gregorypeckory I'd almost think you were JM himself, except he by all accounts has some class. Who's bored? You apparently can't stand any opinions except those that reflect your own; otherwise you have a hissy fit and throw about names and insults like a 4th-grader on a playground. Check the mirror yourself and find out why another, and completely valid, POV makes you so petulant and red-faced. Maybe your mommy can dry your tears. You've wasted enough of my time; I'm out.

  • @slide4180 Your response makes no sense at all. I didn't say a word on the irrelevant topic of whether to call the solo "rock" or not; call it polka; who cares? Only a bored idiot wants to argue about genre labels. If you're concerned about egos, you might want to take a look in the mirror and ask yourself what yours gets from insulting people who are among the best at what they do. If you don't like JM, quit wasting your time here, speaking of pissing in the wind.

  • @Hlotar Most people, don't even know what free jazz is, let alone have ever been to a concert (and it is definitely a "live" phenomenon) so how do we know they don't like it? I may not be able to define it accurately, but I know enough to know this is not free jazz.

  • @Lordkonico2 When is the last time you shared the stage or recorded music with Miles Davis, Vinnie Colaiuta, Billy Cobham, Dennis Chambers, Chick Corea, Zakir Hussain, Jeff Beck. Did Beck call you the "best guitarist alive"-I guess he wouldn't have, since he said that about John McLaughlin, right? Then shut the fuck up you ignorant, trolling asshole.

  • @Gregorypeckory Your ego must be as tender as wet toilet paper. Too bad it blinds you to what is obvious: this isn't a rock solo. The rest of your rant is meaningless dreck, pissing in the wind: your handle says it all.

  • @Lordkonico2 Are you good enough to have influenced, earned the respect of, and shared a stage with everyone from the best rockers, to the best jazz players, to the best players of the Northern Indian classical tradition? Then shut the fuck up troll.

  • @slide4180 Like most trolls, you've got no insights to offer. "What he can't help doing over all backing tracks"? What a fucking moron you are. It always amazes me to find that no matter how great someone's accomplishments are, there is always some bitchy little prick online who tries to shit on them. Go away you ignorant dumb fuck.
