I don't think he wanted Palm to give him a free phone. I think this is just a video to express himself and his desire towards the Palm Pre.

Sorry to be the one to tell you this but even if Palm gave you a free pre, the phone only works in the USA right now. So you will have to wait until they make a GSM version for other parts of the world.
