This game is SO not that scary... well, not to me. I get more scared by suspense/horror games. This is more action/horror. I still like it enough to want to play, though.

This was a pretty fun game, especially since most Survival Horror games were dead at this time, that's to the ridiculously large overglut of them in the late 90's/early 2000's.

It's pretty intense sometimes, but eventually you just start playing it for the story and great atmosphere more then the scares, right about when you notice "if there's a vent there's a Necromorph in it" and "if it has all it's limbs it's faking dead".

Good atmosphere is important to a game though, and really sells it.
