By referring to these textiles as laces, Nigerian customers emphasized these open, lace-like perforations. They thus made reference to a range of textiles (embroidered, painted, or cut) and body art practices (tattoing, cutting, and painting). Highlights are creations by celebrated Nigerian fashion designers: Tiffany Amber, Ituen Basi, Vivid Imagination and House of Bonur
Laces produced by Wilhelm Scheffknecht embroderies, Ernst Bösch embroderies, Hoferhecht embroderies, HKG embroderies, Albert Bösch, Metzler embroderies, Markus Riedmann embroderies, Oskar Hämmerle embroderies, K. Riedesser embroderies, Kurt Gächter embroderies, Supreme Lace
