He left for a while, I believe it was 3 seasons. He's come back and is working us harder than ever. We have the Mahler 5 coming up in March and some Bruckner piece in February.

if you get a chance, check out our piece by Stella Sung, "The Phoenix Rising." It's on youtube under FFYO. We premiered it at Carnegie Hall this past June. What a fun time that was!! It would be cool if our orchestras could play together. you guys rock!

haha! i guess you could ask them to not play so loud, but being a trumpet player myself, im sure they would just look at you funny and probably ignore you. lol! keep up the good work with your youth orchestra. ; )

i am grateful for the trumpets! they are very good. its just that i sit so close to them, i'm deaf after rehearsal. =D

without your loud trumpets and the rest of your brass section you would never get the chance to play the literature you have had the chance to play. you should be very greatful
