  • The Real News is SO important .... I urge all who view it regularly to give what they can to keep it going. We cant trust the American Media any more that is supported by big money companies who decide what will be reported and what angle to take on it. We are fed an endless buffet of half truths and all out lies to cover the crimes of the wealth of the few at the top.

  • Its a shame that so many weren't paying attention during "history" class, indeed weren't encouraged to really pay attention instead of absorbing "text bites" in order to pass the tests. The information is there for all to see. Unfortunately, reading isn't even encouraged now...unless the information is posted on-line.

    Thank god for YouTube.

  • NSC18, not the US Constitution. That's what we really live under. The aegis of the Pentagon and the Eagle.

  • @redryan20000

You have yet to identify any sort of hypocrisy.

  • @reallycoolguy121 so you're saying their hypocrisy is ok?

  • @redryan20000

... advertisements for products that aren't directly related to news coverage... surely, even you must understand that advertising for donations to fund a news source is an entirely different matter.

    My goodness.

  • @reallycoolguy121 so you're saying they didnt advertise for donations? jeez i thought logic was pretty simple but you just sucked at a whole other level

  • @redryan20000

It's not hypocrisy... they boast about not being funded by corporate sponsors or advertisements to illustrate that their coverage isn't colored by external interests. Anonymous donations circumvent that particular aspect of media funding. It's not rocket science.

  • @reallycoolguy121 you seem to think that that excuses any hypocrisy

  • @redryan20000

You seem to think that a news source can run on imaginary money...

  • @reallycoolguy121 well that's really the point. you fail to see the point.

  • @redryan20000

If they do not receive corporate or government funding nor generate any advertising revenue, is it any surprise that they ask for contributions from its patrons? I fail to see your point.
