  • Anybody who calls this stuff generic hasn't listened to Luke's ENTIRE discography. And, what defines a discography as being generic in the first place? What's not to say that he's found HIS SOUND? That's not being generic, that's always been part of the production business. The very fact that when people HEAR a Dr.Luke song can define it as "Oh, that's a Dr. Luke song!" is proof that he's found a signature sound. Glenn Miller anyone?

  • Nah...you don't need all that equipment to make shitty music. You just need a laptop and software, or an iPad these days. But, they need SOMETHING big to measure their egos with, don't they?

  • @wow9490 generic is what is in the charts... and is what sells and makes money for the labels, granted not much money to be made in the industry anymore, sad but true man

  • You need all that equipment to make shitty music.

  • Oh you mad cuz he's stylin on you.

  • @judenihal Man I'm not defending garbage. If it was garbage, who attacks it?

    Umad?

  • @wow9490 actually its HIS style thats being copied...so he-in a sense- he set the standard

  • @Magnifikate You obviously misread what I said. I said that more people today that are 80s fans don't like the music of today, than 60s fans not liking the 80s. I don't see a reason why a 60s fan would not like the 80s music since they are both really good times for music even though the 80s sounds different. Really, most music of today is lacking the qualities earlier music has. I am surprised that you are defending such garbage.

  • He is so talented!

  • @judenihal Ahh no, i think you contradicted yourself, maybe you are stupid. You said that the percentage of people these days not liking todays music is a lot larger. Eh mate I think not. More people like 50 cent than people like Quincy Jones these days... oh so that makes 50 more talented? Oh good stuff on clearing that one man! :)
