This, the wrestling thing, reading the Great Gatsby on stage... I wish I understood what he so enjoyed in getting people to hate him, or at least the character he was playing. I don't know if I'll ever understand that. I'm just glad I'm old enough to remember when this was new - you can't really experience it now the way we could then when he was just this weird guy out there making us laugh hysterically in brand new ways.
