  • @german6134 lol.... who are you to insult this man without even the knowledge of writing herpetology the right way... this man has more experience in snakes than you ever will...

  • @german6134 you are a complete and utter moron. He is SAVING species in the wild from extinction, by breeding them in captivity so less snakes have to be taken out of the wild. And why the hell shouldnt he sell them, people like him are saving lives by supplying snakes to venom labs which produce anti-vennin which saves peoples lives. Please dont comment if your a moron...

  • @german6134

Mate, he's doing a good job to be honest...

Breeding venomous species in captivity is notoriously difficult so he's genuinely providing more of the species rather than helping to destroy them,

it obviously isn't illegal to sell or keep venomous snakes or else

    viperkeeper wouldn't have any...

Learn about the point your trying to put across in more detail before

you try and acuse somebody as talented and brave as viper keeper.

And learn to spell, Herpetology & Extinct.

  • @german6134

dude, you need to check your logic. I am not sure how you are reaching your conclusions. Are you thinking that by breeding these awesome creatures, which makes MORE of them, that the increased interest will make trappers want to catch more and therfore render the wild population extinct? Or are you saying that by creating demand for the species will make breeding so rampant that bloodlines are contaminated, which leads to extinction? Either way MORE of a species is hardly bad.

  • @german6134 He doesn't give herpetology a bad name. It is legal to sell venomous reptiles. Would you rather them be taken from the wild than captively born and sold? How is breeding snakes causing them to go extinct?

  • they are cute

  • Proteins from this venom may soon help treat stroke, hypertension, cancer and others. I'd say he has done okay. While I can appreciate your though on the matter, might I suggest that you research the issue before condemning.

  • german-

He has not placed any species in danger, To be exact, he has done this species a great favor. Al provided venom from this species to be studied in the lab. This was a previously unknown venom and medical providers in the region had no idea as to what, if any, antivenom to use to treat bites from this species. Now we know. This is going to save many lives. As well, the venom has properties that are of great interest to biomedical researchers.
