  • That was so sad. Beautiful melody. I wish I could understand but the images talk for themselves...

  • English Lyrics (1/3) O Lord please listen to my prayer My soul is still sobbing My body still reeks of blood For my children fight Against each other O Lord I want to smile and be happy But my heart doesn't give in From the day the sun rises and sets again I want people call me Beautiful Timor without ceasing
  • English lyrics (2/3)

Today I am praying with the wind and the sea

To pacify those who are sad and sobbing

Today I pray with the moon and the star

To console those who have lost everything

My body is still enchanting on the sea

But now I am lying alone

And waiting for the rain to drench my body

And for the cold breeze to calm Timorese Hearts

  • Today I am praying with the wind and the sea

Lord grant grace of peace for all of them

Today I pray with the moon and the star

For the love of God decrease the hatred in them

For you I am crying to

    My Lord

  • The Australians were there first because the Indonesian government demands the Portuguese wouldnt be in the first phase and the Australian government was pleased with that.

The money that Im talking is from Portugal, not from EU. There is also an EU fund for ET, but thats a completely different think.

The poorest? Really?! Wow you really know a lot form PortugalNOT!

  • Olha Mafra79,

You talked bullshit. Before 'tropa Portugues' arrived in Timor Leste, the Australians troops were the first one. The money you mentioned that supported East Timor is not from Pprtugal, but Portugal asked from 'European Union' with the name of East Timor. Don't talk 'merda' here. For your information, Portugal is the poorest country in Europe.

  • Tetum e portugues sao lingua oficial.
